It is with deep sadness that I am writing this entry. My beloved husband, Richard, passed away early this morning at 1:10 a.m. surrounded by his loving family. There is so much that I want to say....but now just doesn't seem to be the time. I do want everyone to know that the last 30 minutes of Richard's life was amazingly beautiful. I believe that he was totally at peace.
I love Richard deeply. He was a courageous warrior until the end.
Thank you for including us in your thoughts and prayers. I promise that I will write more later when I feel more rested.
Until then....as always....my love,
Sherri

Dear Sherri and Family,
It is with great empathy and love that I say I am so sorry. At the same time I am very happy that you were able to keep Richard at home and that his death was as beautiful as his life. You are very special people.
Richard starts a new journey today and I am sure you are feeling his presence, he truly is an angel now.
Kim
We are all so fortunate to have known Richard. Rest well Sherri.

Richard was such a gift - he will never truly be gone from the many hearts and lives he touched. I hope you can find some rest and feel how much you are loved.
Sweet Sherri, I wish I were there to give you a big hug.
Hugs,
Debbie
Dear Sherri,
There is an ache in my heart, but a drop compared to yours. There is also a sense of honor to have known Richard, though for too brief a time.
One warrior, Richard, is at rest after a battle well fought. The other warriors, you-dear Sherri and the family, though battle weary, remain in the fight. Take care, and all the time you need, sweet one.
love,
Trueda
oh Sherri....
words cannot offer enough....
i love you-- i love richard-- i hold him in my heart and in my memory- a brave strong loving man.. an advanced soul sent here to teach us much....
and you, a brave strong loving woman who is here still to carry the battle and the knowledge he taught foward...
rest, dear woman-- let yourself feel the love that all of us have for you....
call, write, let us know how we can help during this time of change--
Oh Sherri, it is with tears and a thunk in my heart that I thank you for helping me get to know the most beautiful man in your life. He was a warrior, teacher, lover of life who left you surrounded by the angels who guided his way. They're also around you to help you cope.Quoting Sarah Machlachlan "In the arms of the angels fly away....."
I love you sweetheart and am always here.

Dearest Sherri & Family,
My heart is crying for you. I had the pleasure of meeting Richard once and I remember thinking what a wonderful man is.
Sherri, everytime I heard you talk about Richard your eyes lit up and I could see the love you had for him in your heart. It made me believe in love even more.
I wish rest and loving memories to you and your family. You shall remain in my thoughts and prayers.
With love,
Dawn

Dear Sherri,
Jodee just e-mailed me about the passing of your husband Richard. There are few words to express my sadness for you and your family. Since you started your blog I have read it from time to time to keep up with your journey. How blessed you both were to have had the committed support of your friends and family. How you describe Richard makes me wish I had known him. Im so sorry for your loss, for your pain and for all you endured this last year and a half. I have thought of you often as I do now and wish you all the best. Fondly, Sharlene
Sherri,
Sending you my love today.
many hugs,
Trueda
